Dark liquid gold trickles into my throat

Sweet Nectar from heaven is a delight,

I enjoy it whilst I’m drifting in a row-boat

The Liquors are like the rainbow, dark and light

I am dreaming of lying on a sea of rum afloat,

I am ensnared by Rum’s seductive bite

I’ve spent me money, not even got a groat,

In my drunken Stupor I try to alight,

I’m still drunk asleep in my boat.
