Beating Neoquest 1 on insane

With anyone who has beaten the first neoquest on insane mode, How difficult was it? I like this game sightly better than the second and want to try for the gold trophy for this game. But i'm too scared :0

Did anyone have to start over a couple of times?

I'm just on NQ1 on Evil, but I'm in the Two Rings Palace.  So I should be done in a few days.  I've been following this guide:

Even though its for the Normal mode, I've found it works great for Evil.  I haven't even had to be at a higher level than the recommendations for most of the bosses.  I'm planning to use the same guide for Insane and just take it slow and be at a level higher than the recommendations.

I have a been following a guide and beat neoquest 1 on evil already a couple of months ago. But on insane mode, the catch is once you die once, the game's over, even if you are at the last boss and you die. That's it, start all over..

 

i go on auto pilot in this game and die occasionally because I'm not paying close attention.

 

if if you do beat it on insane eventually, tell me how tough is was and of you had any potion left on the 3 stage final boss
