I still have 1000 of "The Big Blue Blumaroo Books" in my SDB and I think once I donate all of them I'll be done with this event. I'm really hoping for a gold trophy. All told, I've spent about 2.5 million on this event. I feel like I'll just about break even by the time I sell everything that I've gotten from this event. I wouldn't be surprised if I make a little profit, but I really haven't been keeping track. I've got almost 300k in my shop till already, but I've got so many items to sell it'll be awhile before I cycle them all through my store.
