Should I keep waiting or pound her?

Recommended Posts

Hi! Okay so about a month and a half ago, I adopted a Lupe from the pound(for the avatar). Then one night, I got a NM from someone, asking if my pet was up for adoption. I laughed, because I thought they wanted my JubJub, whom I'd never ever give away. So I asked which pet, and they said my Lupe. So I thought 'oh perfect, she can go to someone who really wants her!' The only problem was that this person had literally only started their account 2 days before that, and Ava is level 7. So I suggested that we wait 4 months, then I'd transfer Ava to them. My problem, now, is that this person, when I checked their account last, was last seen the day we NMed. Which was 36 days ago. Now I'm not sure if I should keep Ava, or pound her again. Because I've had to decline two offers of my dreamies, on account of not having space on my main and my side is still too young. I don't know if I want to give Ava to this person who doesn't seem to be a very dedicated Neopian...Any advice, please?

This person sounds like they could be an alt or a sockpuppet, maybe try asking about that before deciding anything about your Neopet.

What is an alt, and a sockpuppet? I've thought about NMing them to ask something like 'hey, what's going on here?', but they haven't been online in 36 days, what are the chances that they'll ever come back?

An alt is an alternate account, like one for holding neopoints or holding another gallery.

A sockpuppet is another main account by a user. (Which is highly against the rules.)

IF you want you can send them to one of my sides for the time being.  Just neomail me.  Then you can work towards your dream pets and if the person still wants her they can message me.

I could also hold it on a side until you make a decision if you like - Just message me if you need :)
