Mike.
Hey, alright, so in Photoshop I use the font like 043_bb or something. It's on dafont.com. It comes up so weird. Like blurry, very slightly though. And bigger than it should be. Its on size 8 and it looks too big. And size 6 is tiny and blurry. This all happened after I installed a recent update. Any help? Matt
What I've found that when it's done that is when I've resized the canvas at some point during the program running. At least I think that's what causes it. Usually a restart removes this behaviour. I think it's because it runs off of some sort of quick start ability and just caches its instance before. Or something. Anyway, you're not alone. And with the blurry-ness, it's probably the anti-alias settings (The dropdown bit next to the font). I personally prefer "Heavy", but use "None" for pixel fonts as all the others ruin it.
Mike.
A restart didn't solve it, and I "repaired" the program. Odd. :( I'm so upset.
Ellie_Penguin
Okay my BF is a photoshop master and he told me things you can try: 1) Check the font settings. You can change from strong to crisp to smooth, etc. 2) If that doesn't work, open Illustrator and import the text as smart object. (the text might show up the way you want, crisp). Smart objects are vectors, they can re-sized as many times as you want and never lose quality. As long as you don't flatten the image. (just in case you didn't know) EDIT: Did you fix the problem?
