I've been playing Neopets for like a thousand years on and off since I was maybe 8 or so, and was sucked in again once I started college because I finally kind of understood the crazy economics that I had no idea I would need to understand in order to play a pet site. It's definitely more fun for me nowadays though, and after a hiatus while I was finishing up school I finally returned and am determined to start entering the beauty contest again, finish painting my pets the way I want them and prepare for endless frustration while I try to increase my avatar count.
