shenANNIEgans
I'm sure most of you flash game trophy hunters out there know the struggle of being good at a game but just not lucky enough to reach the trophy score. For example, take the game Imperial Exam. Ideally you would get more points for playing on a higher difficulty, but since the points are the same on easy and hard, it becomes how lucky you are with incorrect spellings rather than how fast/accurately you spell. Or Typing Terror, in which typing speed/accuracy plays a small part but is not nearly enough without lucky encounters against broken robots. Then there are the grindy trophies that require you to sit for a few hours and input things into a solver (I'm looking at you, Eliv Thade). And let's not forget those bizarre random event trophies that expect you to carry around a few million Neopoints and refresh until you're stolen, like Dr. Sloth's Tax Evasion. Examples of games that don't require skills abound. The question is, should TNT take the time to pull some games and revise the points system/gameplay to reflect the importance of skill? If so, how should they revise these games? Discuss.
