What are Dubloons for?

                   I was wondering what are dubloons for, because I have quite a few, I have been saving them, but I don't really know why, so perhaps I should sell then, I could really use the money. I know you can use them for training, but I probably won't train there, except for the avatar, but I will wait to my pet's day when it's free. Is there something interesting to buy in the smugglers cove? is it really worth saving them for something?.

I personally feel it's only worth saving them for training. The Smuggler's cove has rare items, but I think they cost quite a few dubloons and it rarely restocks.

 

If you need the money and aren't bothered about training, I think you should go ahead and sell them :) I don't think they can be used for anything else.

I always sell my dubloons. I don't go to the Battledome, so I don't find a need to train my pets. And I've never seen The Smuggler's cove actually stocked.

You can buy things on Krawk Island with dubloons. Like at the petpet shop and I think there's a food shop that you can only use dubloons at.

                  Those pets are sold on the marketplace by users who bought them for dubloons?
