Samuel Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Hey! Finally, way overdue, we've now started the Beta test of the next-generation layout for The Daily Neopets - our Year 2 site (dubbed, rather thoughtfully, 'Y2') has been subjected to the approved testers, and we'll be discussing the in's and out's in some pretty advanced discussion over the coming days and weeks. It's already underway, and we look forward to the tester's reactions. They'll be helping us to comb out the bad bits, and get the most out of the best - it's all starting. TDN is once again changing, and for the better - our history is being made, and you are shaping it for us. It's the first beta test we've ran. It's the biggest site change we've ever planned. In the great scheme of things, it's not much - we're still providing great content, up-to-the-minute news, and allowing you the freedoms that you've been used to in the Neopian world, thanks to the help and support we provide. But - we're sure you'll agree - it's pretty darn big. It starts now. Samuel, TDN Content pp TDN Management
Ian Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 It's very exciting to see the response already. You guys are really gonna like Y2 ;)
Matt Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Orly? Well, it certainly looks... oh, wait, that's saved for the Beta sub-forum, isn't it. :P With a touch of your magic dust, people, TDN could have a bit of you inside of it. :)
Chipmonker Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 With a touch of your magic dust, people, TDN could have a bit of you inside of it. :) Ewwwwwwwwww. I can't wait for the Y2 release. (I didn't sign up for the beta testing)
Meeptroid Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I'm glad that it finally started! The site should look awesome when the layout and everything is finally completed. (Oh, and Bub and Wells, you guys missed the applications for beta-testing.)
Matt Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Loving the responce already. Yeah, applications were open for a long while previous to this day, I believe. Remember, the beta is limited in operation... because it's a beta. :P
