Novelista
Yay: having two interviews in a week. Nay: having them lined up two days straight. Yay: tomorrow's is for something I went to school for and it pays well. Nay: tomorrow is the second of three for a pharmacy tech position. Nay: having to wait 75 minutes for an interview today, even though I was there barely five minutes after the hiring fair started. Nay: being one amongst fifty or so people, so they couldn't hire on the spot like they said they would. Yay: NAPTIME! :D

Novelista
Thanks, Cat! I don't know about today's...I'm guessing they weren't thinking there were going to be so many people! (There had to be at least 50...that's why it took so long! And it ran from 9a-1p NST!) Tomorrow's...if I get it, it's $9 an hour and 12-26 (or 12-36) hours a week. I don't know if there would be benefits, but the state is supporting me on insurance and it's what I went to school for, so I'm not fussy. (Besides, once you get a year or two of experience under your belt, you can be considered for hospital jobs and those are going to be your best paying, long-term/career stuff.) juststoppingby
Best of luck on your interviews! I hope you can land that job you're interviewing for tomorrow! Even if it's part time, that's great! :3 Novelista
Novelista
$9/hour is $1.60 more than minimum wage here in Michigan. And that's just starting out! The Occupational Outlook Handbook says the average pay rate is $14.10. Not a lot, I know, but as someone who has made minimum all her life...well...how can I argue? :D
