dj07
I have a small business and my website content seems has been scraped by someone. I don’t know how to prevent it. Can anyone suggest me how to do it?
kris10ly
Do you know what web scraping is? Google does this routinely to cache web pages - it isn't a bad thing! I suppose it would be possible for someone to literally rehost your content and try to claim it as their own original work (though why would they do this?), but in that case you would need to send a cease and decist letter the same way you would if someone copied your logo in a physical store. Why do you think your content "seems to have been scraped by someone?"
chrislee
Use JavaScript in content coding that loads the content on demand from your server by Ajax. You can apply some simple encryption or scrambling mechanism on top of that. You can hire experts like Sentor (www.scrapesentry.com), and Imperva (www.imperva.com) which provides specialized anti scraping solutions. You can also go for CAPTCHA creation in the website.
