Dailies theory to get more stuff...

Okay, so I have this theory. I've heard that you get more prizes from Coltzan's Shrine when you click the button at certain times NST. Usually the theory is that it's at 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 55 seconds, etc. Usually I just kinda go for any increment of 5 seconds (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.). Usually, something more than just "nothing" happens when I use this strategy.

 

Well, I was starting to wonder if something like this could be true for other dailies too.

What I did was click the button at some increment of 5 seconds for each daily.

These were the results:

At Coltzan's shrine I got a dubloon (55 seconds after)

At the fruit machine I got an ummagine and 500np.

At the deserted tomb I got a codestone, a Geraptiku Fly Trap, and some neopoints.

At TDMBGPP my pet forgot it's hunger.

 

I never, ever find the treasure in the deserted tomb! I think that there may be something to this theory. I suggest lots of people test it out and see what their results are! I'm don't think this will result in great prizes every time, but I do think it can increase the likelihood of receiving a prize!

I have read about the shrine being like that. Not sure if it's proven or not, but I totally stopped going for a certain time I just click whenever. When I was doing it I didn't see anything consistent with it.

 

I don't know much about how TNT operates and how things work on Neopets, but I think if the shrine does work like that or it did at some point (different times giving certain prizes), I wouldn't doubt that other things could be like that.

 

As far as testing it, I think you would need a large group of people to test it and would need them to be accurate. The problem with the times is that sometimes you'll click but due to lag it'll take longer than being instant and therefore will skew any results you get.

 

If you see a pattern and it's working for you, I suggest you keep doing it (more items, so why not?). But I don't think going so in depth will get you too far. I'm sure there's some formula to all the prizes being given and most likely it's random so even if at certain times you get a certain group of prizes, I'm sure the solution to win a certain prize every time will never be found as it will be impossible.

On another note, my girlfriend actually won a prize today from the deserted tomb.. First time for either of us. I was starting to think it was all a lie about it giving prizes.. :hmmph:

You search through the treasure and take back what you can carry.

Personally, I think they're all totally random. I went through a period of clicking exactly on 5 seconds etc. a loooong time ago, and came to conclusion it made no difference at all.

I understand that this theory is really vague, but I really think there is something to it!

Today is the second day in a row that I got something from the deserted tomb (10 seconds after)

I got a 5 dubloon coin from anchor management

I got some neopoints from coltzan

I got a book from the wise old king

I got a prize and neopoints from the grumpy old king

I got 2,826 Neopoints from the magical plushie

At least he gave me something. I usually get nothing.

I've heard this theory for the Shrine but not for anything else. I'll give it a shot tomorrow just for fun. I think it's probably completely random, though.
