Perhaps a friend of his or someone got into his email and tried to get into the account? Or they had made a mistake. Send a ticket asking them about it. Though I don't think they have ever threatened with freezing my account, as far as I remember. No use asking them why you've been warned, at least I never got a response back. But I guess he could try. You never know, maybe it'll help them reach the same conclusion as many users: That their warnings are too vague and often arbitrary.
