pretty simple: Have you or have you not heard of "long" as a last name or do you, yourself have it as a last name. I am tall. :rock:

Sure I've heard of it as a last name, like the actors Shelley Long and Justin Long.

Yeah. As said above, some actors have it as a last name. I also went to school with a kid with Long as a last name. I don't think it's very uncommon.
