How do you get your topic locked?(on neopets not TDN)

I've seen boards where the mods lock the topic. What do you have to post about to get it locked?

anything that breaks the rules http://www.neopets.com/chatrules.phtml will get a board/offending posts deleted and depending on what it is, the user responsible can be frozen or silenced temporarily or permanently which is undertaken by a Neopets mod.

 

if you are referring to boards where the posts are still visible but usernames are removed, that is when a board hits its post limit, usually around the 22 page limit but can be on page 25+ as well, thats whats termed an "exploded" board. this happens automatically in the neoboards script. :)

no, I'm referring when it gets locked and the mods answer the question right above their post. It has a lock icon when the topic is locked.

I've seen it happen when a rule is broken, but it's not really serious- nothing that would be an issue for younger users to see, and stuff.
