NeoQuest II Avatar Help!

Hi Everyone!

 

I just started playing NeoQuest II tonight to get the avatars. Unfortunately I am worried that it might be too late to get the "Weakling" Avatar.

 

I am currently on level 6 and the Plains lupe can still do 1 damage to me. So far no avatar!

 

I'm assuming if I took my rusty chain mail off he could do more, maybe that would help?

 

I've seen others suggest in past posts here that there is a point where it is "too late" to get that avatar - unless you start a new game on a higher difficulty.

 

Am I past that point? Is it too late for me to get the avatar?

 

Does anyone know about this? Has anyone gotten the avatar?

 

Any input is greatly appreciated! :medieval:

It's a long time since I did this, but as far far as I remember, you have to actually lose to a Plains Lupe, and then you may get the avvie.

 

Once you are so strong that a Lupe can't hurt you, this then becomes impossible. If the Lupe can still hurt you, then yes, taking off any armour would help. Obviously do as little damage as possible so you don't kill it before it kills you.

 

if you're just doing for the avatars, isn't there the option to restart the game?

Thanks elbandito999! You were right - I had to actually lose the whole fight. It sounds stupid but I didn't know that so I was scared to completely lose. I thought that would end my NeoQuest II game. I was letting myself get low and then finishing off the lupe last minute. I would have been there hours if you didn't tell me that I needed to completely lose. Phew!

 

I also didn't think there was an option to restart the game - so that was a great idea. Thankfully I didn't need it. And I now have the avatar!
