The Bandit Posted October 26, 2012 Share Posted October 26, 2012 Hi all, I signed up to the forums yesterday, and was slightly weirded out by the fact that a photo of me automatically appeared as my profile pic. I'm not even sure where the forum got the photo from - it used to be my facebook pic, but isn't any longer. I guess it's out there on the internet somewhere attached to my email... Being someone who likes to keep their neopets and real life separate, I immediately changed the pic to one of my neopet, rather than of me, but I still found it disconcerting. Does anyone know how the forum got my photo, and more importantly, should the forum not ask you if you want it to 'go and find a picture of you', before doing so? Then I thought back to the last time I used it and there's only one other site that I used it on and it used Gravatar. Then I checked if it was a Gravatar site by clicking on the avatar edit button on here and yep!
