Customizing robot pets?

It would be super duper awesome of you guys if you tossed in some ideas on how to customize my robot kougra, Benjamiinnn. I was trying to build on what I have but can't come up with much! NC is totally out for me, unfortunately. :(

 

 

I think robot pets are a challenge to customize but I enjoy a challenge. ^_^ Even if you don't have any suggestions for my pet specifically, feel free to mention anything that you think would go well with any robot pet, or share customizations of robot pets that you feel are really well done!

I played around with Dress to Impress for a few minutes and came up with a couple cheaper items that (I think) makes him look a little better.

Items added:

1. Elegant Gear Boots

2. Kougra Noil Tamer Moustache

I think it's a great idea to go the steampunk way. The moustache is a nice touch :D

I think all I really need now is some kind of foreground or something - the bottom half still looks a little empty to me. D:

I have a robo grarrl and honestly i find him a nightmare to customize. I dunno if it's due to the fact he a robot or just cause he's a grarrl.

 

But yourKougie looks cool. I love its nose.
