The Green Cheese Fairy
Hi. I'm sort of like an new oldbie. In other words, I've been on Neopets before, but left for over several years. I know most of the basics and stuff like that, but I'm not so familiar with some of the newer features. I was hoping to try to find some items that would randomly change the pet's color besides the lab ray. I don't want to use the lab ray, because I would really prefer avoiding changing the species or the gender. I think a Vortex Negg does this, but I have at least heard off some other items that can randomly change pet color. Could anybody please tell me at least the name(s) of such items, and about how much they may cost if it's not too much trouble? I can look up the prices on my own, but if anybody knows them off the top of their head, that would be great too.

The Green Cheese Fairy
flask of rainbow foutain water randomly changes only the color Ah. I see. Thank you. Just for some clarity, am I right in thinking that the Vortex Negg only changes color? Or is a Vortex Negg like a zap from the Lab Ray?

Eric
According to our own Negg guide, a Vortex Negg changes your pets colour to one of the basics (red, green, blue, yellow), randomly. A Kaleideonegg has the same effect as the Lab Ray - it'll mess around with your pet, quite basically. If you want to change your pet's colour (with a chance of getting a 'painted' colour), a Flash of Rainbow Fountain Water is your best bet. :)
