Haliaetus
So my computer seems to have somehow managed to get a bunch of malware on it, and as of today it's no longer letting me sign in or even run windows. Since I'm no longer able to use my own laptop, if I use my phone and possibly a different computer to play Neopets on, do I run the risk of getting frozen? I know this is probably a stupid question, but I've read that you can be frozen for doing that and that's the last thing I need to happen right now. Spritzie
That's perfectly fine. I personally use 2 computers and have been for nearly 3 years. TNT has stated that they realize players use multiple computers. From an Editorial: I'm a college student so I go between computers a lot. I use neopets from my dorm, work, and home computer on a regular basis. And I've heard that you can get frozen by using neopets on multiple computers. Is this true? ~ luvjamesm No, that isn't true. Logging onto your account from multiple places is fine. We know that even though we rarely leave the office, most people enjoy going places like "outside" and "to their Grandma's house" and such. While we find it quite strange, it's not unheard of. Feel free to play Neopets wherever you go. Another one: Hello, TNT! *offers cookies* First of all, thank you for this amazing site. :D Now, I have a question that's been bothering me for a long time. I know it is against the rules to access your account from multiple computers, but could you please explain why that's the case? For example: if you are traveling, is it okay to use the hotel's computer to check on your Neopets? Also, let's say you access the site from your computer, but eventually you buy a new one and start using that computer to come to Neopets. Would that be against the rules? Please answer so I can get a new computer! XD (please remove my username) ~username removed ... o.O Huh? You're more than welcome to access your account from multiple computers. Just please be cautious using public computers; always be sure you log out of your account and make certain that your password isn't saved. One more: I know you've probably had questions like this before but I'm worried that I might lose my account if you think I'm using more than one. See, my home computer broke down and I don't want to miss out on the Advent Calendar so I'm at a library where other people use neopets.com as well. I don't want to be accused of multiple accounts. What can I do? ~dee121105 Don't worry, and just play normally. We are well aware that many people use public computers, and take that into consideration when investigating accounts. We would like to stress, however, that you please, please, PLEASE remember to log off your account when you are done if you are ever using a public computer. If you don't, the next person to visit Neopets may end up in your account! This topic has been edited by a member of staff (Spritzie). The original topic had been answered.
