DiamondZ
I've been restocking for the last couple of weeks now and I just can't seem to get the hang of it. I used Wave Vortex's guide to help me out but that is very outdated. I was wondering if you guys could help out a restocking newbie :D
maku
Here are some guides: http://www.thedailyn...les/restocking/ Also: http://www.neopets.com/~Mavrodaphne; http://www.sunnyneo....estockguide.php; There was already a board on this and here's the link http://www.tdnforums...__fromsearch__1. Familiarize yourself first with the shops. I started with the following shops: Super Icy Fun Snow Shop http://www.neopets.c...hop&obj_type=37 Bakery http://www.neopets.c...hop&obj_type=15 Pharmacy http://www.neopets.c...hop&obj_type=13 Chocolate Shop http://www.neopets.c...hop&obj_type=14 Igloo Bookmark the shops you want to RS at. I use Chrome bec. it loads faster for me. Be careful not to over refresh to avoid being RS banned (which may last from 1hr-1day I think). The profit are not as big as Magic Shop or Stamps but they are still good (for me at least). And sometimes, Snow Food Shop RSes gourmette/kad foods which sell a lot. Also, never buy items which RS for 2,500 (most resell for 1K ONLY). If ever you saw an item that RSes for 5,000 or 10,000 and up, they are r90+ and hence, resell a lot. Note that not all 5K and 10K items are profitable but MOST are. Take a risk and don't bother price checking. Also, the 2.5K, 5K and 10K rule mostly applies only to Food shops. It does not apply to Magic Shop, Weapons Shops, Royal Potions, Armour Shops, Kaylas Potions, Pharmacy, and many others.
MysteriousUser
Personally I find traditional restocking tedious an a waste of time. I mean, don't get me wrong, you could make a fortune, but the time and effort it takes is enough of a put off for me. However the Almost Abandoned Attic is an exception. It's much less stressful because you don't have to haggle and you KNOW when can/will restock as opposed to sitting for hours to get a decent restock. I managed to snag a couple of nice items for a hefty profit, but like most shops, there are bad items. TDN's quick guide
