Rebecca~ Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 Well, any pet is as good as any other! :) The best way, from what I've heard, is to train manually through the training schools. The Swashbuckling Academy is cheaper (slightly) but it takes longer than the Training School on Mystery Island. After level 40 (I think?) you have to train through the school on Mystery Island anyway. You can try to train through the Lab Ray, but the stats are not guarranteed, and it can take a lot longer. moni_rawr Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 I use the Mystery Island training school and save up all the Codestones I receive through REs and try to find bulk "sales" of codestones in the Trading Post. You can also sometimes find people selling them for quite cheap on the Shop Ads or just by using the Shop Wizard. If you use the lab to train, you may end up losing stats, and your pet usually ends up with uneven stats, so you have to "hand" train anyways. Pteris for their air resistance and scorchios for their fire resistance. But if you are looking for cheap yet effective weapons, kacheeks, lennies, and lupes are (in my opinion) the best.
