Guest Lightning Strike
After about 4 months, I decided to hunt out that old article about lemon I wrote, to see if I could get accepted again. Well, I gladly found it in the Stories and Literature forum (closed, of course) and decided to copy it to Word and add the last part (which I ommited due to copyright purposes). I decided to submit it, when I re-read it and corrected many spelling errors. Last Saturday, I checked the Neopian Times and it wasn't there. I wasn't surprised but hoped that maybe one day I'd get in. Well, today, TNT sent me a Neomail saying (I though it was the old "Sorry, try again", but I was quite surprised to find this): "Dear HBK, Thank you for submitting to the Neopian Times. Currently your submission (Title Omitted) is being held over and may be considered for future publication in the Neopian Times. There is no need to submit your submission again, as it is saved by the editor. Yours Sincerely, The Neopets Team" I know that it's not certain or anything that it'll be accepted, but I'm really hoping it will!
Matt
Meh. I'll leave this topic here. Undecided if it should move or not. Congratulations! It's good to hear a sucess story from someone submitting something to the Neopian Times. Usually, it's the same old "Sorry, try again" thing you mentioned. I wish you all the best of luck. ;)
GuardianDragon52
congrats! I wish I could make some interesting story to submit to the Neopian Times. Other people always seem to be better at writing than me though. :( EDIT: Well it's not really talent that is needed everyone has that, its just that I don't ever seem to get a good idea, when one comes to me it always seems silly to me... but maybe everyone thinks that about their own work... Good Luck, I hope your story is used.
