KiKiKiKida
Hello Internet! I was visiting the Magma Pool, and I had a thought... In a previous editorial, it was stated that one was not allowed to gain access to the Magma Pool via the acceptance of the guard on side accounts, as doing so would earn neopoints. So I got to thinking, does that mean that we have to do something that involves making neopoints, or are we awarded neopoints upon discovering the secret to the Magma Pool? Which made me think about shops... If I'm correct, we're not supposed to sell things on our side accounts, correct? Perhaps the secret to accessing the Magma Pool has to do with listing/selling a certain item in our shops? Anyone who has gained access, did you sell anything Moltara related in the same time period? I've sold Shiny Obsidian, as well as the other materials gained in the worms quest. I've also sold Moltara Petpets, the ones that are made using those materials. So far I do not have direct access to the Magma Pool in the sense of the guard's approval. (Though I have found my time) Also, well versed in the ways of Moltara... perhaps it has to do with selling a Moltara related book? Or maybe a certain amount of Moltaran items? I'm going to start trying a few things out, and I will post here if I make any progress! Any thoughts? It seems as though people have given up, haha! -Kida
Jacky
Actually everybody has their own 10 minute window every day. But this is different for every user. Easiest way to find out is make an excell spreadsheet with 24 hours in 5 minute increments, and just start testing. Mark off when you went and in the end you are bound to find your time. Good luck! KiKiKiKida
Hi there Jacky :) I am in fact aware of this. I my post I mentioned that I have already found my time, yippee! What I'm hypothesising is that gaining allowed access to the pool may have something to do with shops. (I actually just had my kacheek take a dip in the pool tonight! My time is 1:32 until 1:42 AM, or something close to that)
Jacky
LOL okay sorry about that.... I guess it's time for me to go to bed.... :nerd:
KiKiKiKida
Ahaha, I know the feeling. I'm up WAY too late as it is!
annikarose
Sometimes I wonder if there is any solution at all, maybe TNT just wants to watch us sweat xp Or, my secret hope is that it refers to a Moltaran plot of the future! Does anyone know if there was one when it was discovered? I was on hiatus then.
Lydia Trebond
I think the earning neopoints part was if you got the welcoming thing and not the "Guard is sleeping" part.
KiKiKiKida
Yes, there was a plot of sorts at the time. :P That's what I mean, so I'm trying to use that fact to figure this out..... I don't think it's working! Hahaha
Aalnius
i've always thought that you might have to read a certain amount of moltara books to be able to gain access to it, tbh i doubt its selling things as it'd probably be a bit intensive to track everybodies sales and match them all up to a list of items, also as far as i'm aware theres never been any plot step or activity thats required selling certain items. nelle
I'm fairly certain my pet hasn't read any moltara books, and my shop... well is kinda pathetic... so I don't think it has to do with any of those things! I found my time just last week and took a dip.
lilshadowdweller
Nice theory, I like the time and effort you had placed into divulging the vast mysterious. Unfortunately, I haven't really sold anything from there nor read a book to any of my pets, and I found the time. I think everyone just gets a time and that's all there is to it,
Aalnius
i think you should put it in big bold letters that you don't mean the random time slot, as people seem to be getting confused. also theres this picture on neopets for when the guard accepts you, i doubt they'd create it for no reason, i reckon they just added the time method because they knew it would take ages for people to figure out how to do the other one. Lydia Trebond
SHE IS NOT REFERRING TO THE RANDOM TIME SLOT :rolleyes_anim: Now that we got that out of the way, let's look at this: Reading books to your pet does not mean earning neopoints, so I doubt that's it. Restocking from Moltara does involve earning neopoints, so I would suspect that could be a possibility. Collecting the worms and getting the red stuff does involve earning neopoints [items] so that also could be a possibility.
KiKiKiKida
Ahaha, Lydia, you're hilarious! Maybe I'm overtired, but I cracked up upon reading your HUGE BOLD LETTERS! :D I'm trying to think of other possibilities... I think because it's easy enough to just discover one's time, people have just kind of given up on finding the solution! But the lack of solv-ation (pun :D) is making me twitch! Batman
If I liked the color more I would try and find the solution. But I found my time a while back and haven't painted a pet since. I think there has to be a solution but I would rather work on the rubbish avatar then this. But who knows maybe we have already found it but they planed on having an avatar attached to it and they never did the avatar. Hence why we can't get in. Lydia Trebond
I think your right about being over tired when reading that XD I didn't think it was that funny... But the big question would be, does it have anything to do with the Atlas of the Ancients plot?
KiKiKiKida
Yeah, I need to try sleeping one of these days, haha. Hmm, that's a good point! It would also kind of suck, because the plot's already over.... but completing the plot would award neopoints, and would make one well versed in moltara-ness. mishalunchbox
So i had another theory... and i reached my final goal therein immediately after finding my sleeping guard time, so i have no idea if it was successful or not. When you return to the pool less than a week after finding your random time, what do you see? Is the guard asleep again, or does he tell you you have to wait before you can reenter? If you see a sleeping guard when you visit, that may mean i've found the key to full-time access. I doubt it, but it's worth asking. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Edit: i meant to say, "is the guard saying you're not worthy" rather than "is the guard asleep." Dur.
