Lady Kakata
I admit I haven't really gotten into Guilds ... but I've opened my own XD I'm just customising it now and putting together a guild cause (keeping Xweetoks happy!) With regards to layouts and activities, got any advise for this novice?
April
I just recently re opened an old guild. I ran three guilds at the moment. One is roleplaying. Some advice? Keep the layouts fresh! I explored a different theme every month. Whether it be a pet colour, specific pet. And change the layout monthyl. Activity ideas... Well, you can have graphic activities, like making banners, buttons and call them competitions. (Do not call them contests, TNT will ice) Call them competitions that you can't make profit from. You could have customization competitions. Some writing activities, (lots of those ideas, I have) You need to think of a rank system. Personally, I have a points system. Where if you do activities, you get points. If you win competitions, you get more points. When you trade the points in, you get ranks. Or you can base ranks on message count. You need to find another active council member willing to help, and advertise. MEMBER SWEEPS. Important. Sweep inactive members. Set a requirement. Whether it be every member has to at least post once a week or they're swept if they miss two weeks in a row. Vacations and such are excused. Inactive members will bring down your guild and no one will want to join. Having a Portal and Webbie are important when advertising. I've ran lots of successful guilds and if you need any other advice/suggestions, just ask. :)
