Adblocking problem

I'm on a laptop that's not mine right now because mine broke and I'm awaiting the arrival of my new one. So I downloaded FF and installed adblock plus, I'm currently using the Fanboy filter. I tried the EasyList one, too.

It's blocking ads just fine, but it's also blocking my neopets. I can't see them at all. I've been messing with the filters for a few hours and I cannot get it to work. I attempted to use TDN's filters, but for some reason it won't allow me to use it. It says the page is invalid?

 

Here's some screenshots of it.. The quickref page has a still of my pets instead of a flash module, and my actual pets' lookups don't have anything. Or anyone else's pets for that matter.

They're large and I can't resize them at the moment so I added them as links.

When you disable ADP can you see them, is it blocking just flash on neo and nowhere else...?

I don't suppose this is it, but check in your blocked list for 'images.neopets.com/customise/*' - that's the part that's being blocked for you...then delete it if it's on the list.

Yeah, it's just blocking flash on neo.

It's not blocking that, but maybe there's just something I need to whitelist specifically.

hrm, that's annoying. the only adblocker i've used with minimal problems is chrome adblock, but even that has its off days. :P

 

have you considered maybe just switching browsers? maybe try chrome/adblock and see how that works for you?
