Gallery organization (tea)

As my gallery starts to grow, I'm really going to need to organize items into categories. I'm at a loss of what those should be, though, since there's just so many different varieties of Neopian teas. What do you guys think about origin/stock location? Shenkuu, Meridell, etc.

That's a good idea! I'm looking at your gallery and I see you also have foods, so maybe 'Tea Time Treats' could be one category. Also, a category for your coffee. Might want to get a jump on it now, before your gallery gets even bigger! Good luck.

Where they're from would be a cool orgainization. I also think it would be nice to just have one category that was all 'cups' so you could see all the tea cups by themselves.

 

Also I suggest calling your gallery something along the lines of 'The Beau-TEA-ful shop' but I do enjoy puns more than the average person :rolleyes_anim:

i would think grouping them by source is a good idea, otherwise i group things by type, so for you gallery i would have teapots, loose leaf, tea for two (if it had a pot with the tea), bubble tea, fruit tea etc (but i think you would run out of category space)

 

gallery suggestion, also a clock so you always know when its tea time? :P and a selection of magazines/books for the cafe style touch

If I had a tea gallery I'd have categories of;

 

Hot Teas

Cold Teas

Tea Services/Crockery

Tea Dresses (and other such wearables ^^)

 

I don't like it when a gallery has about a million categories, makes things confusing (at least for me!). I *love* Annuikiis idea of the clock - you could even write your categories on the clock at 12, 3, 6, and 9 (if you had four :P) with links to them :D That would be awesomes!

I like the idea of where the tea originated from (as personally were I viewing such a gallery would find that interesting). I also like the suggestion as making another category for teacups, as I like seeing cups together too. :)

If I were to organize them by origin, does anyone know of an item database that lists where they stock or are won? I used to use JellyNeo for anything item-related, but it seems to be down.

You could try http://neoitems.net/index.php but I find they don't always have the information I'm looking for. Jellyneo will probably be back soon if neoitems doesn't have all the information you're looking for.
