I would try downloading it right from the Adobe website. If not, you could always try another browser. I like Chrome, personally, but I hear FireFox is a very good alternative as well. (Although, if it's a flash/shockwave problem, a new browser might not help).

Which browsers are you using? Right now, for me, Google Chrome is working fine, Flash isn't working at all in Firefox but other things are fine, and Internet Explorer won't work for more than thirty seconds on anything I try to do. If you haven't tried Chrome yet, maybe try it? I'm not sure how to fix the other problems though.

You can try going to your adobe flash global manager and resetting it and see if that helps, the steps are below:

1. Visit http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html

2. Click the tab for "website privacy settings panel" (the icon of the computer with an eye in the middle)

3. Click "delete all sites"

4. Restart your browser

Hope that helps.

Try clearing your cache and cookies and etc.

Flash is buggy on Macs sometimes, or it could be some kind of an adblocker issue?
