Awesome_Paul
okay, i have webroot spy sweeper (to protect my pc from spyware) but recently my year subsciption has ended (about 2 days ago) I haven't renewed it yet and when my weekly automated scan the spysweeper still scanned my pc for spyware even though it has expired. with the subsciption they gave me free updates to the newer versions. When your subsciption expires, is the program still usable but you no longer get updates??
webpixie
it will work but it wont get updates so it wont find any new variatiosn of spy stuff, just like how a virus scanner..
Awesome_Paul
oh thats cool, i won't be left defenseless until i renew it, it won't get upates but that can hold for a week
Superfly
Correct, but remember that hackers and bad people create new versions of spyware each and everyday. If you get one of these new versions your spy sweeper will NOT protect you against it. So I would highly recommend renewing it. ASAP
.Dan.
You could always get some new shareware or freeware anti-virus software.
EnlightenedOne
if you really like this particular one then you should just do someething that will not be said because it is against the law but im sure you get the picture. or just use spybot -search and destroy
Guest Lightning Strike
if you really like this particular one then you should just do someething that will not be said because it is against the law but im sure you get the picture. or just use spybot -search and destroy Yes, that's an option, and I know websites for this, but I can't post it here as it is against the rules (I wouldn't anyway, it's illegal). Or renew your subscription. :D
Ellie_Penguin
You can try to get Spybot meanwhile. It is free and it works great!
