Guest Tyler
CG definition: To make a piece of art on the computer, or to transform a hand drawn piece into computer done one. Almost the final frontier for a graphics artist, or any artist for that reason. I have some programs for turning a sketch into a CG piece of art, like the Anime tv shows and Cartoons. I have: Photoshop CS (With ImageReady) Macromedia Flash MX V6 Four other programs that I can't remember at the moment. Any advice would be well appreciated. Cause I have a basic idea on what to do, but I am not sure.
webpixie
ok you need to be more specific .. do you want to my a digital painting, to "ink" and color your drawing digitally, or to make an actul animation?
Matt
See, what I would have done is drawn it using my tablet in the first place. I guess you could... trace over it? I 'unno. :P But yeah, be more specific. As in... why would you want to? What's wrong with just scanning it in?
Guest Tyler
I'm slowly figuring these things out. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/49050227/ I did that all in Macromedia Flash MX. I used a sketch I found http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/46554527/ and used Flash MX to define the outlines, in other words inked it. And used a basic fill color technique. Today I want to try my hand at shading and highlighting.

Guest Tyler
also i would highly suggest using photoshop unless you plain on making animations/flash movies with these Tried it, but I like the use of the vector lines on Flash MX. Given the time, I might be able to do a full inked, colored, and shaded piece.
