So, how do we search for a member with a display name of less than 4 characters like HBK and Ian?

You go here and you search by alphabetical order or use the advanced filters. :)

Basically, its the advanced search that allows you to search in the members` section. Sweetdang`s solution is better though, as it gives you more options to search for the user.

That doesn't work when you don't enclose it "in quotes". Using the ""s. But when you do, you can search for names like Ian, because the word thing doesn't count! :D
