Emma120
I actually have two questions about this: 1. What time should you sell seasonal items? Do they increase in value around the holidays or does the market get flooded around then? 2. How long do you hold onto Advent Calendar items before selling them? Leila
For selling Advent Calender items, I'd advise waiting at least a year, if not more. It takes them a long time to go up in value, if they do at all. I don't have any advice on the first question though
Sweetdang
Depending on what seasonal items. If they're a wearable or something that ISNT COMMON, or is retired and not a toy, then wait till the season comes! Then everyone will be after it. If it's common, though, then I don't see the price raising any time ;) Advent... plenty of people have them . Wait a year or more, then the newer ones to Neopets will snap 'em up. But price increase... maybe. Maybe not.
Rebeka
I usually hold on to books, wearables & neohome items for quite some time - definately more than a year. As for toys, consider yourself like if you sell them at all.
Skathi
I have my advent items from last year saved in my SDB, Was going to wait till December, but I check on the Shop Wizard to see what prices are like.
bataclops
Nowadays it seems like advent calendar prizes never end up being worth much of anything at all. Too many people collecting now perhaps? Also I think there have been a lot more non-disappearing items in recent years once wearables came on the scene because so many wearables come out in the calendar. summertwinkle
I don't think prices rise at all, good for me! I just bought a Y7 plushie for cheap which is gonna go to my collection. The problem is HTS (as in things that are rarer) are hard to sell for a reason. If there's no demand for it, it won't go for very high either. It must be popular to the point of draiks that people will remember it even years after. So I don't stake any claim on newbies willing to pay more for it unless they end up being older newbies that can afford it the stamps or whatever to finish their albums. That's my input...I don't sell...mostly buy...but I'm very stingy.
