UNDFTD_
Advisable? Heard of the downsides whereby HP > STR/DEF/LVL as time goes by (e.g. LVL 20 pet with 200HP) and not forgetting that there's actually a slight chance to get a LVL reset? Stats as of now: LVL: 16 STR: 21 DEF : 21 HP: 32 I'm gaining at least 5-10 stats everyday, is it recommended if I continue zapping & training it at the same time? Or should I just create 1 more pet for the zap?
Piticent
Well, I'm not sure, but I can tell you that it is impossible to get the 'Back to Level 1' zap past level 20...
Sweetdang
I'm not the biggest battledomer, but I'm working toward a pet ray. And I will be blasting my BD pet, for more stats. It's the fastest and overall cheapest, for me.
maku
Level up your pet past 20 to avoid being zapped back to level 1. Since your pet is relatively still weak, I really would suggest going for dubloon training. At about level 40, I think it would be better to use the lab ray. Or, you can do just both. splint
I would have a lab rat and a hand-trained pet. Lab rats are more useful for DoN and avatar challengers, but an even-stat pet would be more consistent for dedicated battling. So it depends on what you plan on doing :)
tintytiny
Personally, I find zapping and training at the same time the best way once you've passed the no-level-reset. But it is pretty annoying sometimes, especially for things like league battling, when you're often accidentally zapped past league borders or get stat drops. Still, it saves you some money, and if you're not doing league then go for it. :)
raxenous
Ive heard about people getting their pet past lvl 50 and it not being reset back to lvl 1. But the only downside to having a lab rat as a BD to me is cause it lacks defense. Its HP and Str and movement will go up quite a bit. But when you get up to the hard hitters in 1p the lack of def can hurt. I perfer training them so can keep the stats even and well rounded other. tintytiny
Rax~ yes, you can get dropped defense a lot. But, contrary to what you've said, lack of defense hardly matters in 1P, only in 2P. However, an even pet is easy enough to get with a combination of zapping and training, and probably quite a bit faster, as long as you're past level 50 and you're prepared to put up with a couple of drops. raxenous
You can also negg to keep your defense up if your labbing.
tintytiny
Seeing as neggs aren't going to be worth it until you need to pay two or more red codestones at the Ninja Academy, I'd just use regular training and retrain when I get dropped some stats. raxenous
I mean as a quick way to even out if you have to. Im probably about to have to negg and train headhunted to even him for a war.
tintytiny
Nah, I'm a cheapskate and prefer to go with the most money-saving way, even if it does mean waiting longer. xD Right now, neggs are still wayyyy too expensive to be considered an advantage over the training school. raxenous
Yeah they are pretty expensive but codestone prices are starting to rise to.
tintytiny
Codestone prices always fluctuate, it's a normal part of the Neo economy. I can guarantee you codestones won't get near to the price of a negg.
raxenous
That is true with an Anegg your lookin at 30k each. The only time id use them is to help even out headhunted where he was a lab rat and trying to even him for war or when i get to using red codestones.
