~Shoot Em All Peophin!~ Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Jolly Jasper last activity detected on 2007.. its a long long time ago... i hope there will be someone assigned to moderate Art Gallery section, i saw it used to have activities such as art contest under his/her moderation.. can we have one, please?
Anime Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Jas was never a mod. She was news. She ran arts contests because she wanted to do so. As to why there are no longer contests: Back then we had a donations account that funded prizes for such contests and events. As the donations account was iced, it is no long a donations account. It's just a normal side that I was lucky to get back with th pet intact. As such, we have no way of funding such a thing completely off hand.

There are several non-mods on staff who have mod powers (either in all forums or in specific ones) for various reasons (the bulk of them being News, as they need to be able to post and edit things in the News forums). And no, there is no reason for there to be an Art Forum moderator. None at all.
