Last I heard, I believe our version of the boards doesn't support it. As for mods locking them manually, we feel that would take too much time, and the mods time is better spent being around in the case that issues arise. Also, we don't close threads that have been bumped after the 21 days if the post adds significantly to the topic. If the posts were auto-locked, this couldn't happen.
