Are you allowed to ask for collateral for lending Neopets?

I had someone neomail me, and ask to borrow a Draik that I am currently holding for a friend. They asked how much collateral they would need to borrow, and they are not the first person who has asked. I didn't think you can charge for collat. or not for pets, since it sounds to me like "selling" the Neopet, or placing a value on them. So if anyone could answer this, thanks! Then I can respond appropriately.

Yeah that's not allowed. If anything they could give you one of their pets while they had yours. But no neopoints/items can be transferred.

It is against neopets rules to charge for that.
