Buying NC online

I would like to buy some NC online but I'll have about exactly 5 dollars in my paypal account in a couple of days. So I'm just wondering are there any taxes included for the payment? How much? Are there any extra duties because I'm from Canada? Can I choose to buy with USD (I only have USD funds currently).

 

I'm a newbie at this but I don't want to be charged for lack of funds when it ends up totalling more than 5 dollars. Thanks.

Not sure about the Canadian thing but I'm Australian and I buy NC via PayPal in USD. I've never had to pay taxes, and only once had a surcharge as I paid PayPal via my CC and my bank hit me with a currency conversion fee.

Thanks, that's good to know! I haven't verified my bank account with my paypal account because I want to restraint myself from dipping into my real life funds. It'll be problematic if I incur taxes, currency conversion charges and such.

 

Whew...it's good to know that I'll be able to get some NC soon since I'd like to get a gift box capsule just to open it and see what it's like! Maybe I can use it to trade for something if I can get enough giftboxes.
