Powie Posted August 14, 2011 Share Posted August 14, 2011 Hey guys, I need some advice from the veterans here on how to snipe auctions. I've had very little success sniping some ETS items such as lab maps, always ending up the 3rd or 4th last to bid even if I follow it all the way to page 1 of the auctions. My question is, is it all about estimation and guessing at the end of the auction? Like, see how many people are bidding, then maybe add 3-5 people who are trying to snipe as well, then guess a reasonable amount to bid? I don't use the auction house that much, but when I genuinely need an item (and it's the only place selling it), I'm never able to get it due to people sniping.
