QueenMickey Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 Hey guys! Time to introduce myself! I first joined Neopets about... Ten years ago? My original account received one of those mystery freezings, and I had originally lied about my age to be over 13 and forgot the birthday I input. So then, I made a new account. I was really into horses at the time, so I thought the username "born2ride4love" was really cool. At 12. Now, at 20, I don't think it's as cool. But all my friends know to refer to me as "Queen Mickey" anyways. :D Which brings us to the proper introduction: The name I like to be referred to is "Queen Mickey". You may call me "Mickey" if you like. In the real world, I am 20 years old, Canadian, and a university student. I double major in Chinese and Japanese, and will be attending law school in due time. On Neopets, I like to think of myself as a collector, but others might call me a lucky packrat. My plushie gallery is always growing because I happen to stumble across the random plushie amongst the masses of items I shove into my SDB. I am a Zafara lover, but I don't have a Zafara pet as of right now. Speaking of pets, I shall introduce you to my babies. From left to right: Shep_Fang, Boxer_Laruh, Sinkah_Sutaru, Takar8989. Takar is a pet looking for a good home, previously my lab pet. Sinkah was my Kougra, now my current lab pet. Shep (named after my real dog) was labbed, and is now a pretty boy with crazy hair. And Boxer... she was once my Zafara. Now she's (a he right now) a fiery Lenny, a species I hate but a colour I admire. I want to one day have a team of: Island Zafara, Electric Lupe, Maraquan Draik, and Pirate Krawk. However, Draiks and Krawks and Maraquan and Pirate paintbrushes are frighteningly expensive, so I'm playing with the stock market. After investing for four months, I think I'm about 1% there. :D ANYWAYS! I love to chat, and I like to make friends. I just joined the forums recently too =) We have a lot in common actually xD I've been playing neo for ages, though not quite as long as you. I'm a 20 year old college student. I'm going to school for Psychology in the U.S. When I was little my parents used to call me Mickey as a nickname :P Also, I have a bit of an obsession with horses. I hope to own one someday. I also love to read and collect books. Nice pets! I can appreciate your dream pets too, I love Maraquan Draiks but have to wince whenever I think about how expensive they are. Sigh. My pet Khuron is my pride and joy. I really like the unconverteds. Okay, that was kind of rambling and random - but point of the message: it's nice to meet you and I hope you enjoy the forums! So in experience, I think I've only got two or three years under my belt. XD It's kind of cool - I didn't realize I'd meet someone like you this quickly. Almost like a sort of twin. :D If you don't mind my asking, what sort of psychology are you going to be in? My roommate is in psychology and she's thinking of dealing with children. And wow - I love your Neopets. Great names as well. (And CUTE petpet to go with Khuron!) I'm thinking of maybe giving away my pets and getting new ones with good names... I have 2 more years of undergrad left, and then I want to to grad school to get my phd in social psychology. I want to do research and teach at a university. Umm, from left to right : bunny_claire the Magma Cybunny, saunty the Baby Kacheek and Uni_sofi_27, the adopted Tyrannian Uni. I first created saunty who got fired by Boochi, then adopted the Uni for the avvie and thought I'd keep her and lastly I created the Cybunny and just recently made her Magama. :) And by the way, Good luck with you law school thing! In real life, I'm 14, a Singaporean and I'm just your normal average student! Though I'm quite jealous you're a double major in Chinese and Japanese; I want to learn those languages someday! On Neopets, if you happen to look at my userlookup, I have 18 Kacheeks and a Shoyru! :D Well, I hope you'll have a great time on TDN forums!
