Space Faerie Codes?

So I went neo merchandise hunting the other day only to discover that although it is available where I live it is actually a pretty rare occurrence to find it being sold :(

 

I was wondering if redeeming a neocash card counts. I know purchasing nc items doesn't, but does redeeming the code on a real card (which apparently comes with a free virtual item) count?

Redeeming NC cards doesn't count. I had the Space Faerie already, but my husband has redeemed NC cards, and he didn't get her.

Aw ok :( thanks anyways. The only neomech I was able to find was $50 and I think I would cry if I had to come home with a giant green acara....

I could not purchase Neopets Merchandise in my locale so I put a post on the Help and Avatar Boards in Neopets and a really generous person sent me the code Worth a try

Yeah I know quite a few people do that, but I would prefer to avoid asking for stuff on the boards, I mean merch 'should' be available for me so I'll just have to ask around :)
