Can the same pet be transferred more than once per day, and zapped more than once per day?

 

Yesterday, to pass my time until Koi day when I'm getting my new Lab Rat, I decided to adopt a new pet, which is relatively nicely names (Jocelia) hoping that it would change color by the time koi day comes around so i can put her back up for adoption and some lucky kid will adopt her...which got me thinking

 

 

Whats to stop a large group of people from passing around the same pet until it is desirable enough to be adopted?

A pet can't be transferred more than once a day. Once a transferred pet is received, if you try to transfer it the same day, it says it's too tired, and to wait until the next day.

 

So I guess technically, a pet could end up getting zapped twice a day, if you zap it before you transfer it, then zap it on the account it's received on.

But I think many people are too lazy to do that, lol. I guess you could test it out to see if it works that way, I mean, I've never heard anything about it being against the rules. Side accounts are made for transferring pets...so... *shrug*

This sounds a lot like a grey area in the rules. :worried:

I don't think I've ever heard that it's expressly not ok, but it also sounds like trying to subvert the system which tends to be frowned upon.

i dont see how it would be frowned upon..taking an abandoned pet, zapzapzapping it, then putting it back up for adoption for some lucky person

 

i know some people do this individually, never heard of it as a group, probably because as spritzie says its not possible =/
