Neopets with Spaces in Their Names

So, I was browsing Neopets a day or so ago, desperately trying to avoid homework... and when I stumbled across the following pet, my mind was blown.

I thought Neopets' names were restricted to basic alphanumeric symbols and underscores! :O I tried to create an Aisha with a space in her name, but no method worked; the space was converted to an underscore every time. Then I tried adopting a Grundo, like the Neopet above, and the space wasn't automatically replaced.

I'm so excited! This could open up so many naming possibilities. I might actually get a second Neopet, now... once I save enough NP for a morphing potion, a'course. :laughingsmiley:

If you come across a Neopet with a space in their name, they're usually very, very old.

I believe that back then, you were allowed to put spaces in your Neopets' names. But you can't anymore, if I remember correctly. :(

Oh, no... :( I didn't actually adopt the Grundo, so I can't say for sure that the Grundo adoption method works... just that inputting a space wasn't automatically rejected, like in Create a Neopet.

Dangit! I was so hopeful, too. I wish TNT would allow for spaces, again... especially since purges are few and far between. -_-

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the method doesn't work anymore, but that's how you used to be able to do it

I am cool the Plushie Draik is another (awesome) example of one of those pets :)

According to my Mum, There was a Glitch a couple years ago that made you able to create Grundo's with spaces, and other characters in thier names :)

My favorite, is Blood Bath

It was only accepted long ago through grundo adoption. I don't think it's done anymore these days. I believe once they are in the pound, they cannot be adopted. I tried adopting one once and all it did was give errors when trying to adopt.
