I stopped as soon as I got the Impostor Apple av. It's almost always a bad outcome from there or you receive something worth a NP. I agree with you, completely not worth it!

Healing Springs is one way to fix that or just feed them a Poisonous Jelly/Lollipop to give them a different disease that has a cheaper cure.

You can get the avatar by having an Imposter Apple in your inventory, and that being the item you lose. That's how I got the avatar.

I haven't been so lucky yet. I've been carrying one around in my inventory for a couple of months, but it has yet to fall into the barrel.

It's annoying, but have you tried clearing out your inventory so it's the only item in it? When I did that, I got it within a week.

Oh my gosh! Revelation! :) Thanks, I've been trying to get the avatar randomly for months now and I didn't realize there was a way to make acquiring it easier.

But it's definitely not worth it, aside from getting the avatar

& wow! I wish I'd known that a few lost items & Blurred Visions ago . . . I think I may have more than one Imposter Apple inventory so maybe I'll get the avatar quicker :)

Really? I think it's pretty worth to go to the Apple Bobbing Place, even if I do have the avatar. They give out a variety of items, which is going into my SDB for teh packrat avatar, and if I get a repeat, I just sell it :) Also, if my pet does get Blurred Vision/get hurt, I just take her to the Healing Springs :)
