buzz
:grrr: At my school, getting good grades gets very competitive. To be in the top quartile, you have to have above a 92 average in all your classes with the multiplier. To be in the top ten, you have to have a 97 average in all your classes with the multiplier. I live in Austin, Texas and The University of Texas is a very good local school to go to. To even get accepted, You have to be in the top ten percent. They take the top ten percent from all local schools. No offense to the other local schools, the kids below our top ten percent are way smarter than the other schools top ten percent. This is depriving smart kids at our school from getting in to UT. Not as smart kids are taking our spots. It's so annoying!! :grrr: :grrr:
