Where can I find restocking guides, tips, or suggestions?

I hear people talk about restocking, but I need somewhere to start. Obviously I have to save up a bit because you have to have neopoints to make neopoints. Is there a decent beginners guide somewhere so I can start learning the art of restocking?

It's actually kind of difficult to do any up to date guide. Mainly because items change so much(for instance, the Neopies dropped some items from 40k to 200 neopoints, every time Keyquest changes you need to be on top of that, Apple Bobbing, new site events)

 

That said, some shops are better then others. Igloo Garage sale is a good place to get your feet wet if you haven't shopped much before. No, you don't haggle, but it gives you a good idea of what things are, and if you chose something bad, you're not out much.

 

Traditional shops recommended are Books, Post Office, Magic Items and Food. I tend to like Collectible coins(only one bad restock(Mystery Island), sell quickly, and I collect, so.), Collectible Cards(Which I don't recommend, until Fairie quests start back up again), and some of the other bookstores, though you'll have to double check what's good.

 

And don't expect to get the great stuff right away. It's worth buying stuff that's only going to get you 100 np or so when you're starting...hey, it's 100 you didn't have before.
