Octopus
Lvl : 40 Str : 82 Def : 76 Mov : 30 (doesn't matter) Hp : 93 / 93 (get to 120?) I haven't been training my pet in a very cost-effective manner and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to correct my unbalanced stats. I want to get strength and defence past the 85 mark without raising my level. Should I rely on Neggs, Kitchen Quests, or just start paying three codestones/session? savamal
Those stats are rather balanced to me :P So train Health Points (120) first, then raise your pet's level (60) and go for the Strength and Defense trainings. The cheapest way to increase your Strength and Defense is using Neggs (play Keyquest and get neggs which you convert into tokens at the neggery) Armoured Neggs (16 tokens) give you +1 Defense point (and a piece of armor...) Ferocious Neggs (124 tokens) give you +1, +2 or +3 Strength points (and a random disease which can be healed at the Healing Springs) (well, with 79 tokens, you can get a Power Negg which give +1 Strength point only) Keyquest prizes also include codestones for "free" trainings
Octopus
Thanks! Good thing the Neopies drove down the codestone price, better get them before they go up again :D
zoologynerd
always train your other stats around your level. train up until youd need to use another codestone or dubloon (next bracket). this way you balance your stats and dont spend quite as much. ive been training in endurance and now its too high to train anything else unless i up my level :grrr:
Octopus
I started training my main pet before I went on hiatus, and back then I didn't know about balancing stats. Could've saved a lot of NP if I hadn't raised my level to 40 first :P.

I just kept training with codestones for level on my pets I did not even realsie I should be increasing the strength/endurance/and so on. dr_gnorbu
Thanks! Good thing the Neopies drove down the codestone price, better get them before they go up again :D The price is already going up again. Happy that I bought 50 of each type of codestone at a low price. :)
Octopus
I usually stop training when the school asks for an Eo Codestone as I'm too frugal to pay for one. Hence my training has come to a standstill until I can get one for free :D.

Do I need to go somewhere else to train my pets and increase their health

You'll miss the earnings of selling that free stone... for me there's no difference.

barkie
Endurance is the same thing as health points. Oh Okay thanks for that I am still fairly new to the battling bit but since playing Key Quest and winning codestones I have been training my pets more... Should I rely on Neggs, Kitchen Quests, or just start paying three codestones/session? well neggs cost the most from what i know, and 3 codestones, the cheapest wold be 6K (3 main), and max would be about 18K(3 eo). so i would say kitchen quests. If you have 3 EO-codestones for me for 18K, please let me know. The current price at the SW is 11K for one.
