CAV of Gang Green
For the past 3 days, whenever I try typing, a bunch of "H" keys keep appearing, and they don't stop. For example: I nehed hhelhphhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I needed to slam the keyboard to stop it. And I have to edit this post several times to get all the h's out, and it's difficult to simply type. If there anyway that it could be fixed. I must also note that the problem mostly occurs on DS. I say this since it could be a factor.
neruta
you could try removing the key cover for the letter 'H' and then put it back again (or you may need to replace the rubber gasket underneath the cover). it's a bit tricky if you have never done it before, so you should look for a 'how to' video to see what you need to do. Sofa
I've had letters stick before and either brushing around under the key with a paintbrush or taking the key off & putting it back on again seemed to work. If it's not doing it with other letters I'd've thought it must be the 'H' sticking somehow. Sounds like a complain pain though, hope you manage to get it fixed. livvy
Well, if your keyboard is anything like mine, I'd recommend cleaning under the H key. The easiest way to do this is to get some tweezers. Use the thin end to pry up the key from either the top or the bottom (the side will make things snap). Once it's off, make sure you keep track of all the little connect-y pieces. There should be two on the underside of the key, one which fits inside the other. Now, use the tweezers to remove anything that might have been obstructing the key. Work with the little connect-y pieces to reattach them to the keyboard, and then press the key down on top of it. It should pop a couple times, but that just means it's connected. =]

Thanks alot! My shift key cover button fell off and it's hard to put back on this might help me! =P
