Really Old Dailies?

I was looking at some petpages that listed dailies, and one had these really old Burger King thingies:

You know, where you'd go under Canada, paste in the codes, and get either a BG, or some other semi junky items, all are untradeable. It's one of the one-time-only dailies. I did them, but I stupidly thought "Oh snap. I hope these are still OK to do!"

 

Were these OK to do? I dont live in Canada but I've heard a lot of people do that, as the guide said, to click the Canadian avatar. I won't get in trouble, right? I'm so confused xD Should I send in a ticket to TNT or am I okay?

Someone has actually already asked TNT about it. (There's a page about it on Sunnyneo. You can find it by searching Burger King. They actually have a screen print of the message from them.) TNT said it was fine.
