SlightlyCautious Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I've recently gotten into modifying my pet page, and I've been using images from Jellyneo, because I can't get the sources from neopets. Am I allowed to do this? They are pictures of items (using the IDB), not artwork or anything. The image URL is from neopets, not JN. Would either JN or Neo have a problem with this? Thanks for your time. This topic has been edited by a member of staff (Spritzie). The original topic had been answered. selusa Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I would think it'd be fine, since it's going to be on neopets.com anyway. I use their avatar URLs for my lookup (for newest, favorite, and most wanted) and I've never had a problem with it.
stephiime Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 yes i believe you can do so just so long as you don't take anything with a watermark on it. everything else like avatar images and other neo graphics were created on neopets originally anyway
SlightlyCautious Posted December 14, 2010 Author Posted December 14, 2010 Whee! That's what I thought, but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!
anita s Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 this is perfectly fine, because the host is actually neopets pictures, and therefore you're allowed to do this. many people actually do.
