antiaircraft
2891: The supernova of a star in a nearby star system rocks the Solar System. All of the planets are knocked out of their orbits, and Mercury smashes into the Sun. Earth is shunted several thousand kilometres away from the Sun, becoming cold and barely liveable. 2892: Kick-started by the 2891 Solar Disaster, the Extraterrestrial Exploration Program (or EEP) begins to colonize the other planets in the Solar System. 2904: After twelve years, the EEP ends, with 4 of the 10 planets in the Solar System possessing civilian populations, and all the planets having exploratory or military bases on them. 3008: A fleet of alien ships appears at the edge of the Solar System, and send radio transmissions to the human scouting ships dispatched to investigate requesting an audience with a high ranking human leader. The aliens identify themselves as the Chraxon, a nomadic race that drains the stars of uninhabited star systems in order to power its ships. This was precisely the reason they came to the solar system, but they abandoned the idea after discovering that it was inhabited. The Chraxon do not act aggressively, and request to stay for a few years to replenish their supplies. The Human Command Council (HCC) agrees, excited at the prospect of alien life. 3010: Another mysterious alien fleet emerges just beyond the Solar System. Contact is lost with the combined human/Chraxon task force sent to investigate. In a lightning fast strike, the aliens destroy most of the Chraxon energy storage ships. Desperate, the Chraxon ask the humans for permission to drain their Sun for power, offering to take the humans along to compensate. After a heated debate, the HCC decides to accept, in return for the Chraxon's assistance in repelling the invaders. A combined Chraxon/human fleet meets the alien fleet in a battle on the outer fringes of the Solar System. Just as they seem to be winning, a huge alien fleet emerges from superspace to reinforce the alien force. The human/Chraxon fleet is defeated. A once mighty Chraxon ship was venting its atmosphere into space. Breached countless times, the last surviving battleship in the Chraxon/human fleet was slowly disintegrating as hundreds of escape pods jettisoned from it. In the chaos on board the ship, a lone Chraxon sat at his post on the bridge, transmitting the ship's last order: "This is Chraxon engineer Eer Tung Hul. The battle is lost. All surviving ships and escape pods converge at rendezvous point gamma for a superspace jump to Earth. Report in once you arrive."
Midtime
"This is Errik Forhar, human defence fleet, Half Moon squadron leader, reporting arrival at rendezvous point gamma with three remaining squadron members." antiaircraft
"Half Moon leader, your transmission has been acknowledged. Charge your superspace drives and call the jump when the survivors have assembled. My escape pod is not superspace capable. I will eject and try to make it to Uranus. Good luck to you." Eer keyed the Chraxon battleship's self destruct and activated his escape pod. The battleship destroyed itself in a brilliant explosion. A lone escape pod rode the shockwave, heading towards Uranus. ((Chraxon escape pods don't have superspace drives or comlinks))

antiaircraft
Eer's escape pod wove an erratic path through space, pursued by a squadron of alien fighters. So far, none had scored a hit, but that luck didn't last for long. An energy beam jolted the escape pod, and multiple alarms sounded. "This is going to be rough." he muttered to himself as he studied the readouts the control panel was giving him. "Especially with only one engine." Empress Keiko
((human. Sorry about not including it in my post.)) Stali heard saw that Eer was in trouble so she flew to the positon. She shot at the Alien Fighters. Threee went down. Two were left.
antiaircraft
The remaining two fighters went evasive - into each other. Eer rolled the escape pod in a military salute, then coaxed as much energy as he could out of his remaining engine, heading for Uranus. ((Anyone can join at any time, as long as their arrival fits into the storyline))
Empress Keiko
Stali followed Eer. Can't be too careful, right? After being a tactician, occasions like this call for eithher extremely risky techniques or safe.
Guest Christmas Trace (Not Tree)
"This is the Mirandian Starbase Defence Platform. We have you on long range sensors. Are you being followed by hostiles?" The Mirandian Starbase Defence Platform was one of the last platforms still in operation in the outer planets. It is currently unknown if others exist further out. The Mirandian Starbase Defence Platform, or MSDP, is currently in orbit around Miranda, a moon of Uranus. It combines Chraxon defence systems with Human tactical technology and weapons.
antiaircraft
Eer flashed his lights in morse code: "This is Chraxon engineer Eer Tung Hul of the destroyed human/Chraxon fleet, we do not appear to be immediately pursued, but my sensor package is non-functional so you'll have to verify with my wingmate." Midtime
Errik hardly noticed the commotion. He was busy doing a prolonged sensor sweep of the area, searching for more survivors.
